7 Reasons Why Should You Start Guest Blogging

Most of us are having our own blogs. But the way we promote that to the world differs from one person to the other. If you write articles and post in your blog it will be known only to your followers, friends and those surrounding you. But guest blogging is more powerful. Guest blogging is writing articles, reviews in others blog. But why should you do Guest Blogging, or writing as a guest in other blogs.There are so many reasons and benefits for that. Here I have summarized some of them which are very important.

The following points say why guest blogging is effective and efficient and also you should try to experience its results.

Traffic to your website:

The guest post you write on others blog will give more exposure to your blog, and this will bring traffic from the host blog. This is called Referral Traffic and Guest Blogging can tremendously increase it. Visitors of the blog will look at your blog and read your articles if the guest post is interesting. Although not all of those readers will want to visit your blog at once, they will surely notice your blog name and the next time you submit a guest post on the same blog or another blog they read, they will want to check out your blog. So submit guest post regularly in different websites and increase traffic for your website very easily.

Best Way for advertising:

You can advertise your blog ad on others. Only few visitors click your blog ad. But guest blogging provides a free advertisement for your blog. You no need to spend money for guest blogging. By guest blogging you get the right audience.

They enjoy your article and they will visit your blog on reading the article. With a guest post, people get to read you’re writing in depth, and can see what amazing stuff you going to offer. If they want more, they’ll click over to your blog.They’re the most likely to stay, read a bit, and even subscribe.

Answer all the Comments:

After you finish writing a guest post you must be ready to reply all the comments. You should have the knowledge of answering queries of the readers. You should provide technical support to your readers.

    I have plans of doing just this but some questions keep nagging me and holding me back? Naturally, I would want to guest blog on a blog that has good PR and considerable traffic. Now, will this blog accept a guest blog from a blogger whose blog is just PR1 and has negligible traffic?

      You can atleast start with a guest post a week or month in different blogs. One more point my friend missed to mention, if your blog has less no.of readers and if you write guest post in a blog with 1000+ readers I am sure you can get atleast 200+ of them subscribed to you. This has worked to many.

    I think the most benefit of guest posting is for SEO. People say link within a post is the highest quality backlink and the most efficient way to get this kind of backlink is guest posting.

    One thing that is awesome about guest blogging is that you can break out of your niche. It’s especially important if you have gotten into a rut and are having trouble coming up with new content for your site. You can write about something completely unrelated (like relationships or cooking) that you would never mention on your own strictly targeted website.

    I had started this, in a slightly different fashion, earlier this year and admittedly have been bad about following up with the people I had extended the opportunity to.

    Although none of the guests I featured (I call mine Business Shout Outs) are directly related to what I do it’s a way I try to help other small business owners get additional exposure to their site/business by doing a feature of them on my site.

    I had not considered asking other bloggers to do a post on their site but thanks to the resources several of the commentators above offered I am totally going to check it out for my own use. (And ironically just a few minutes ago one of my new blogging buddies did extend the offer to be featured on his blog!)

    Guest Blogging seems to me a little similiar to article writing and submissions.

    You write a bit different (more personall I would say), but it brings the same benefits for you.

    Also it helps to rand your Name or the name of your Blog and make it more popular in your niche.
