5 Reasons why I am Blogging for Beginners and Newbies

When we discuss about blogs we often hear the word, Niche. Whenever you say something about your blog to some one, the first thing they ask to us is “Whats the niche of your blog”. This is nothing but, what is your blog about; What do you write about and what kind of people you target.

During the earlier years when the blogs were introduced most people took it as another way to make money and wrote on money making tips. Researches say that, still people look for money making tips than anything else. So, it makes sense that having a particular niche is much important than anything else to make most out of blogging.

Well when considering the niche of this blog, we are writing for beginners and newbies. Our articles will target on blogging and internet related news to beginners. But why did we choose it as our niche. Here are the reasons why we are blogging for beginners and Newbies.

#1 Beginners always need guidance:

We always search in Internet when we don’t know something. Most of the people uses the Internet for finding information and sharing it while only few use it as a networking place. Hence said, every beginner or pro looks for something in Internet. But, expert people don’t look for information as often as beginners. Beginners look for some tutorials and tips the most. This happened to be our first reason to start blogging for beginners.

#2 Easy to write for them

When writing for beginners, you don’t need to possess some extra ordinary knowledge in a field, or need very good command in English. Its enough to write what you know in a simple manner and a plain language. This makes us it is very easy to get our thoughts straight to the newbies. We can write simple tutorials and latest news easily and more frequently.

#3 Easy to Interact with Beginners

When beginners read articles in any blog, they get more doubts or queries than what they really understand from the article. This makes that they would leave more comments asking their queries and also they are more open to interaction, eager to learn more and if they find useful articles, they are sure to come back often and interact more with us. This can help us to network with others creating a community around us.

#4 We are Beginners too

This is the very important reason and I should have mentioned it at the beginning of this article. We are very new to blogging and we would love to share what we learn, what we know, and what issues we are facing and the solutions we get. I am not so good at money making tips or other niche but always love to write what I learn.

#5 SEO advantage

This can be a selfish reason for some extent. When looking for keywords to target for the blog, I found long tail keywords can definitely make my blog noticed. When looking at the google autosuggestions and google keywords tool with term “Blogging for”, I can see less search volume and search results for “Blogging for beginners” and “Blogging for newbies”. Thus, it made sense in choosing those words and targeting them to reach good place in SERP.

If I made the optimisation right, I am sure when this article is published the blog can be within 20 results for the terms “Blogging for Beginners” and “Blogging for newbies”.

I am somewhat skeptical when new bloggers target new bloggers to give them tips on blogging, just doesn’t seem to fit.

Your site seems to be on the right track, but a warning, it is a very competitive niche.

You write some really good points here. I have noticed that longtail keywords will bring in traffic to my site as well, it’s strange but it works in blogging.

Thats are a few reasons to targetd Blogging Newbies.

But when I look at this Blog content, It´s almost useful for more experienced Bloggers too.

It seems also natural that beginners are searching more often for infomrations than an expert would do it, thats one of the great differences between them – The level of Knowlege and Infomrations, isn´t it?

I think I perfectly agree with your reason # 4. We all were beginners one day. And if we can write a blog for beginners (and as a bonus can get some SEO advantage as well), then that is like baking a cake and eating it too

This is a niche that is so saturated with under par bloggers (no offense). Every one seems to claim to be a blogging expert and rehashing the same old stuff. If you log with the view of just making money it is not going to work. Its more about sharing.
