It was good to see the helpful support from the readers at the previous contest. The amazing response from the Readers and their cooperation made the first contest a successful one. Thanks for all your support and we are looking forward to have more contests, every weekend so that you can always have a nice stay here and get rewarded for your efforts.
Fine, enough talks. Lets get into our announcements for today. Since we had a sufficient number of subscribers now and its increasing day by day, we had decided to make this blog somewhat more effective by categorizing articles based on the day it is posted. We will categorize the older posts on the day we posted and we follow the terms from now and we will try to match the respective days as possible. So here is what I mean and the new categories are:
1. Smart Sundays:
Posts on Sundays fall under this category. As we always love Sundays as it is the day off and we can enjoy the most with whom and what we like. So to make Sundays more exciting we have come with an idea, to have contests every weekend. For now, we are having only Google Wave and Orkut Invites giveaway and we may later provide you with some exciting prizes after we get some sponsors for it. Ans for all the contests posted we will be announcing the results on Next Sunday evening.
2. Marvelous Mondays:
As this is the day that starts our week, its good to have a inspirational things here. So we post some Interviews of emerging persons, youngsters who rock online, and smart entrepreneurs and techies. Their thoughts can make us start the day with some inspiration and also make the week a wonderful one.
3. Tweaking Tuesdays:
Posts on Tuesdays may include some tips and tricks in the field of Internet, Blogging or insights of some technologies.
4. WordPress Wednesdays:
Speaks on WordPress, effectively using it and also to have develop good blogging skills with WordPress. We are now feeling this would be the most expected among users as most of the blogs are powered by WordPress. We are in a thought to start it with simple tips for newbie bloggers (in fact, the site itself is novice one
).
5. Technical Thursdays:
How long can we make everything so simple, we will be having some technical posts on Thursdays that may require to have some basic knowledge of what being posted. To know our reactions of our readers and their level of Knowledge we would like to start with simple tech things and we will make it advanced in following days.
6. Fruitful Fridays:
Who doesn’t like Fridays. It was the end of working week and we all be looking forward for great weekend days. So to make this more effective,we will be providing some stuff like tutorials and other off topics to make you relaxed from busy schedules and hectic days. It will be so fruitful as the name suggests.
7. Simple Saturdays:
Very simple things, very basic ones, and already known facts refreshed here. This may help someone who doesn’t know even the basics of something to learn about it in simpler ways. It will be very very basic things. This can help the users to know simple things they have not known.
So, thats it. Hope everyone understood what we meant by categorizing on days basis. Well, this categorization is to make the readers stay focused on what they want. For example, WordPress users can stick to the WordPress Wednesdays and Beginners can stick to Simple Saturdays. This is our thought behind this.
We would like to know what our users feel about this. If you find some other name for these categories, based on their description, please let us know. If they are more catchy and more relevant than these, we are happy to rename this.
