NoviceBloggers Launches Sponsorship Program

It was a high season for contests, last month. I have participated in some ten contests and won half of them. But, when going through the contests I can see its hard for people to get sponsorships for them. I interacted with some of the blog owners to know how they got sponsorships. I have received some mails for sponsoring to contests. Lengthy mails, threaded replies, that took two days before I agree or disagree.

Looking at this, it made sense that holding contests is tough one, but getting sponsorships is more harder than it. The contests will not be so effective, if we don’t have sponsors as we cant bear everything by us.

I am a firm believer of

This thought made me, to think that why not we, bloggers, look for ourselves sponsors and sponsor others in single place. This made me to start a blog for bloggers to get sponsors and sponsor others. This idea made me to create the new blog, http://sponsors.novicebloggers.com/ .

This is the place where you can make post detailing about your contests and get sponsors. Bloggers can get traffic by sponsoring to others. Details of this are listed here. http://www.novicebloggers.com/sponsorship-programs.html (Forget about the colors, I am really bad about designing )

For now, I am launching this in BETA mode. If you, readers, find it more interesting and can help, you can vote at the poll at sidebar to let us know your thoughts. If you vote for could be better, kindly leave your opinions of what can make this idea better.

Depends, on the users views we would decide on working on this further.I feel this can change the way of getting sponsors and make it more easy way. To make things more interesting, we have started another blog, http://contests.novicebloggers.com/ where you can register yourselves and announce your contests.

Its a good idea, ive sponsored lots of contest in the past with old blogs and intend to do so with my new blog over the coming months.

Finding sponsorship for contests can be extremely difficult to do depending on the niche you write in. It’s always good to see someone helping to find sponsors for others!
