NoviceBloggers Welcomes 2010 with Google Pagerank Update

It was an wonderful year that passed with some important events like Barack Obama becoming the president and passing away of King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Whatever it is, we are now ready to Welcome 2010 and people are celebrating the new year moment when this article is published.

NoviceBloggers Welcomes 2010 with Google pagerank update

But one more happy news is Google made its Page rank update too. This makes the PR of NoviceBloggers now rise to 2. Yes it is. Hurrah!! We are glad about it and definitely our readers has some contribution for it. So we are now all set to welcome 2010, with our page rank update for 2010. This is another coincidence, as we had a coincidence of 50th post on Christmas

You can check the Page rank of this site using any of the SEO toolbars or Google Toolbar. Not having them? No issues. There is an online tool, http://www.checkpagerank.net/ .

When I thought of what can be the possible reasons for this, I ended with the answers will be

Blog commenting
Forum Submission
and, Nothing else. Yes, nothing else.

I haven’t submitted to any of the directories, no article submission or any other off page factors. Occasional social bookmarking. Thats it.

I like blog commenting the most and I most preferably do it in sites with Top Commentators widget. I made the top commentator spot in most of the blogs and those had good PR. May be this is the reason most contributed to this PR change. And regarding, forum submissions, I do mostly (and only) in Digital Point. This clears that how powerful blog commenting and forum submissions in link building. Thank you for those blog owners too

I got excited when I learned about this too! I checked and my site went from PR0 to PR4 in only 2 months time, I was amazed! I submitted your article to Blogger Den, hopefully it’ll hit the front page

Lucky you and congrats, i sold my blog 3 days ago because i wanted to start a new blog on a new domian, it was pr1 when i sold it and now its pr3.

Congrads, neither of my sites have been updated yet, I don’t think my need-information site is too new for a PR update, but I have another site that I have built over 2500 do-follow links to since last update, and I am hoping that site goes up from a 1 to a 3 or 4……

  I think you can reduce the out going links in your need information site. This divides your PR to them.

Most of the blog have got Google PR update at theyear end 2009… Its one more reason for bloggers to celebrate new year happily…

Nice to hear this!

One blog of mine got PR1 this year, only from social bookmarking, so this could be a reason too I think!

And my main Blog jumped from PR1 to PR3, but here I use a lot of different Link building methodes.

      I am not sure about the other factors but I can definitely say Google loves blogspot than WP.
      
      I have seen blogs with less back links, posts and comments than mine and also not so much backlinks from other reputed sites, having a higher PR than mine.

I have to admit hat is a great way to start off the new year! In fact it had me go check mine (I didn’t realize a PR update was due) and one of my sites jumped up from a PR3 to PR4. Good news all around!
