Which is the best post you read?

Posted on 12. Nov, 2009 by in Blogging for beginners, Contests

Websites, RSS, Blogs, Social Networks, subscriptions, contests. These are likely be the most heard terms in recent days. Internet is growing faster than any other living organism can. It links you to any part of the world in seconds and bring the live streams before your eyes. But, most of the Internet is now powered by Blogs and Social Networks. Also, Blogs have become favorite one of the Internet People as it is so easy to create and manage your blogs and you can share your thoughts to mass audience easily.
As this goes, there has been always a friendly competition between bloggers to give the best to the readers and the readers are so aware now in choosing and following the blogs they like. When thousands of posts coming in an hour all over the Internet, only those with good content and approach reach more audience and make the readers stick to it.
Why don’t we just share the best blogs to others and help others know things better. This is what the idea sparked me for writing the post.

Share the best with others:

Which is the best blog post you have read so far?

This is the question. You can share in comments which is the best post you have read in this month. Or if you have something that you have read months ago or even years ago but still makes a good impression to you, you can share it here. If you are not a mere reader but also a Blogger, then you can share the best blog posts you have ever posted on your blog.

Rate for Others:

The interesting part of rewarding someone is appreciating them. So if users like the posts provided at the comments, please add your vote by "Liking" the comment. This can be a way for conveying other users that the post is a must read one. And, of course, we do have a small prize for the most likes.

Contest:

Though its so good is to share all the things, we felt that having a contest with this can enhance more users to participate, share, and learn from others. So there is a small contest. The one who gets most likes from other readers wins an Orkut Invitation for newer version. And in case of if there is no users who got eligible by the ratings, we will go through all the posts mentioned and give the prize to the one whose is most promising read.

So here is the summary:

What you should do:

1.Share the post you most liked. It can be even from your blog and can be more than one. Also state the reason why you liked it.
2.Use the same name and email id in all the comments and the likes you contribute so that we can know how many comments you made and how much being liked.
3. "Like" other posts and comments if you feel they are worth read.

Please Don’t:

1.Comment with different names or ids each time.
2. Like your own post as different user. (You get automatically get one like or point when you comment)

Things are enough Lets start:

I feel you are clear about this. Though the contest is a second thing, we ultimately aim at sharing the posts you have read. Here is  one of the link I most liked Do you have a can do attitude and this is the one I liked among the posts from my blog is 11 amazing search engines to try out. The reason for I like the Freelancer article is it expressed the points neatly and I particularly liked the simple theme with good page navigation at the bottom of the post.

Start sharing and if you have any clarifications, let me know in comments.

The contest will be until Sunday night and the winner will be declared on Monday. Though you can continue to share the posts you like even after that. That may help you to rank well in the upcoming contests.

We would like to know the best posts and what our readers like. Get started to discuss at the comments.

Be the first to comment and get Orkut invite without competition. Make sure you share a best post you readwith your comment

Well, it's hard to pick one because I've read too many 'best' blog posts. Well, here's one good one that I've read:

How To Get Past The Blank Page By Creating Urgencyhttp://www.problogger.net/archives/2009/10/26/how-to-get-past-the-blank-page-by-creating-urgency/

because it teaches bloggers how to get rid of blogger's block, a really big obstacle.

And the best blog post I've written on my blog is:

    22 Reasons to Blog
    http://www.glosonblog.com/reasons-to-blog/

because it inspires others to blog.

I hope you'll find the posts informative and interesting! :-)
